If you are planning to spend your summer holidays in Greece this year, it is important to keep a few details in mind to make sure you have a smooth and safe holiday.
The Greek government has announced that all travellers must complete a so called Passenger Locator Form (PLF) when entering the country as of July 1st. This is a short questionnaire that can be easily filled out online via the following website: https://travel.gov.gr
It provides detailed information regarding their departure point, the duration of previous stays in other countries and the address of their stay while in Greece. Once travellers fill it out, they will receive a confirmation email with a Quick Response (QR) code on the day of the scheduled arrival in Greece.
Visitors can also download the Visit Greece app for free, with personalised recommendations and relevant information about COVID-19 health protection measures.
Also, please do not forget to comply with all of the necessary preventive hygiene measures such as washing your hands frequently, using face masks and maintaining physical distancing. Keep in mind that all travellers entering the country may be subject to random tests upon arrival and some of our partners such as Ikos Olivia are strongly advising guests to undergo a test 72h prior to arrival and in case of no testing before travel, a compulsory complimentary rapid antibody test will be offered upon arrival.
