Mammaproof was created in 2011 by two mothers whose aim was to enjoy their cities while being young parents and to help transform them into more family orientated places.
In the past few years, their network has increased immensely and they have become an important reference point for all parents looking for inspiration on where to eat, shop, play and travel with their children.
Once a place, product or company fulfils all the necessary criteria for being family friendly, it receives the “Mammaproof” mark. All of these things, plus a range of other useful information, can be found on their website and also in their yellow printed guide, which is published yearly and can be ordered online or be purchased in selected stores.
Mammaproof loves to receive recommendations from other parents about special places they have visited with their children, so that their network can continue to grow steadily. Parents and families can therefore benefit from other people’s diverse experiences that go in line with the classic saying:
“It takes a village to raise a child!”
