The Mallorcan Family Hotel

This traditional Mallorcan finca has been beautifully converted into an intimate rural hotel that offers rest, relaxation and blissful tranquillity for overstretched parents, and an abundance of space, toys and games for children.
Immaculately tended gardens that are bursting with colour surround the property, and at its heart lies a large, sparkling pool (heated in the cooler months) and an expansive terrace, including a bougainvillea-covered pergola, a play area and lots of shaded seating.
Guests accommodation is in apartment-style suites, some located in the main house, the others in an annexe beyond the pool. Built from natural stone, with tiled floors, exposed beams and whitewashed walls, the property retains a rustic atmosphere, but has been tastefully decorated to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay.
All suite types feature one bedroom with an adjacent bathroom, and a living room including a kitchenette. The children’s beds (in 4 sizes: travel cots, toddler beds with 2 horizontal wooden lads, child beds with an optional horizontal wooden lad and adult sized beds) will be put into the suite according to the family’s preference (into the bedroom or the living room). They also have anti-fall protection for the main bed available.
The property offers plenty of pool and beach equipment (pool and beach towels, beach umbrellas, beach and pool toys), toys, games and books for all ages, as well as toddler equipment such as strollers, car seats, child carrier backpacks. On site they have playground with a toy kitchen, tricycles and bobby cars, a small soccer field, a large trampoline and quite some creativity material.
The on site restaurant is open all day and serves delicious lunches, snacks, and dinner. In addition to their varied breakfast buffet, half board for adults comprises a choice of 2 courses from their daily evening menu while the children’s half board allows a daily selection of a meal from the children’s menu. Participation in their two fiesta evenings per week (tapas and BBQ fiesta) is also included in the haf board mealplan.
Surrounded by fields of golden wheat, it might feel miles from civilisation, but is in fact just 5km from the traditional town of Campos and 10 minutes from one of the island’s longest and loveliest beaches, Es Trenc.

Deposits / Cancellations
A non-refundable deposit of 20% is payable upon confirmation of booking. The remaining 80% are due 6 weeks before your arrival. They will be charged to your credit card automatically.
Cancellation charges:
- 70 or more days prior to your arrival, 40% of your total holiday price is charged
- 69-35 days prior to your arrival, 60% of your total holiday price is charged
- 34-14 days prior to your arrival, 80% of your total holiday price is charged
- 13 days or less prior to your arrival, 100% of your total holiday price is charged
Once your holiday has commenced, no refund or part refund or unused portion of your holiday will be repaid in the event of cancellation by you. If the reason for cancellation is covered under the terms of an Insurance Policy, you may be able to reclaim these charges.
The Area
The municipality of Campos, located in the southeast of Mallorca, is an area that is agricultural. Today it is the centre of the island’s dairy industry – the Piris cheese is produced here – and a number of wines also come from the region. Life in these parts tends to move slowly and simply.
At the coast it’s a different story, with various resorts and hotels built around pretty inlets and beaches. The southern tip of Mallorca forms a V shape, effectively giving visitors two coasts to explore: the west-facing one and the east-facing one.
Es Trenc beach, a ribbon of white sand and turquoise water, stretches for several kilometres along the southwest side, and is great for water sports. The southeast coast is dotted with narrow coves and smaller beaches, some of which remain undeveloped, and others where resorts have grown up around them.
The closest town to the hotel is also called Campos and is a fairly workaday town with a handful of good restaurants and all the shops and services one might need, but a few kilometres further on the towns of Felanitx and Santanyi are well worth a visit: Felanitx has a medieval castle and ancient monastery to visit, and the market at Santanyi (Wednesday and Saturday) is one of the most interesting on the island.
The majority of the attractions in this area, however, are of the natural variety. The flat country lanes are good for cycling or walking, and the coast is only ten minutes by car from the hotel.
Palma and the airport are approximately 40 km away.
Places worth a visit are:
- The pittoresque Mallorcan village Santanyi and its famous market twice per week offering boutique-style clothing, jewelry, hand-crafted treasures, arts and local produce
- the turquoise-hued fisherman village of Cala Figuera
- aquariums in Colonia Sant Jordi and Palma
- a cactus garden in Ses Salines
- a sea salt tour at Salines d’Es Trenc (keep an eye out for flamingos!)
- an ostrich farm in walking distance
- 5 minutes drive to the Caribbean-like natural beach “Es Trenc”
- 20 minutes drive to the stunning sandy and shallow coves of the South-East coast (Cala Llombards, Cala Santanyi, Mondrago Natural Park, Cala Sa Nau….)
