La Vie en Papier, a great concept store for parents and kids in Sant Just Desvern

A few months ago my son and I discovered this great new place in Sant Just Desvern called “La Vie en Papier”.
This is the beautiful project of Isabel and Irene who opened their business only eight months ago. At the store you can find everything from kids birthday party supplies to beautiful home decoration items plus a great crafts area where they hold weekly workshops for children. Continue Reading »

Baby Deli Barcelona

My kids and I have a serious craving for apple cinnamon rice cakes. Whenever we run out of them, we need to visit Baby Deli in Barcelona as they sell our favourite brand from the UK. So far I have not found these anywhere else in town and this is always a good excuse to stop by and browse their store for other healthy snacks and find some new toys or simply have a good cup of coffee. As we all know travelling with the little ones can be tricky and it is not only about choosing the right place to spend your holidays but also about planning the trip to your holiday destination. I think all of us have had bad experiences traveling with toddlers and many of us have probably thought at least once that it actually makes more sense to stay at home. Continue Reading »

So I look for ways to mix up my pancake recipes to be more wholesome. Kids are all different, my son won’t eat pancakes with fruit in them so for him I leave the blueberries out. Continue Reading »

Parc Turó de Can Mates, an amazing playground for kids

One of the playgrounds my son always remembers even when he was smaller is the “park with the slides” in Sant Cugat del Vallés.
Sant Cugat is a village close to Barcelona, about 20 minutes by car and has lots to offer for children and parents so we love to drive there now and then.
First time we saw it, we immediately fell in love with the “Parc Turó de Can Mates” as it has a bit of everything and is by far the best playground I have seen in Barcelona and its surroundings. Continue Reading »

Recently I went again to the Flea market at the German School where they open its doors twice a year to the public where one can find everything from second hand clothes for babies and toddlers (some adult clothes as well), books and all kinds of toys for children and few other things.
Usually the quality of the items offered is really good and prices are pretty reasonable. Continue Reading »
