The Costa Blanca Family Retreat is a haven for parents travelling with young children. Nestled in the rolling hills of Spain’s Costa Blanca, between Valencia and Alicante, the Costa Blanca Family Retreat is a boutique, family-focused property surrounded by olive groves and mountain views of the Sierra Bernia.
With just five suites and one standalone casita, each with one or two bedrooms and kitchenettes, it offers intimacy, comfort, and a “home away from home” vibe.
Families travel light here: the property provides everything from cots, bed guards, night lights, and sterilizers to books, toys and highchairs—even a welcome hamper with milk, yoghurt, bananas, and cereal to get the holiday off to a smooth start.
The playgrounds span 15 acres: toddlers and older kids will enjoy the slides, trampoline, sandpit, ride-on toys, and scattered play sheds. Meanwhile, a heated saltwater pool with inflatables provides hours of fun under the sun.
Daily encounters with the farm animals—including pigs, goats, chickens, donkeys, ponies, and bunnies—are a highlight for many young guests and foster hands-on experiences.
Parents also find their own rhythm here—with peaceful garden nooks, an honesty bar, communal dinners, spa treatments, and yoga sessions—while children play happily nearby under the gentle Mediterranean breeze.

The Area

Overlooking the lush Jalón Valley and framed by the Sierra de Bernia mountains, the property offers a peaceful rural escape just over an hour from Alicante and Valencia.
The area combines countryside charm with easy access to family-friendly beaches in Dénia, Jávea, and Moraira. Nature lovers can explore nearby hiking trails, traditional villages, and local wineries—all part of the authentic Mediterranean experience that makes this region so special.
