The setting itself is absolutely beautiful and the accommodation is probably the most luxurious we’ve ever stayed in. All three children gained so much from the experience. The family that runs the farm is so keen to encourage as much involvement as you like. Our youngest son got up every morning for milking and spent afternoons improving his German and helping with all aspects of the farming. The girls both had horse-riding lessons and helped with general tending to the animals. The booking process was so smooth with the Little Voyager. Our three-week Bali adventure began at Como Uma Canggu, where we were welcomed so warmly after the long flight. The transfer and arrival couldn’t have been smoother. The hotel turned out to be the perfect starting point: right on the ocean with the chance to catch some waves, a very large pool, the kids could dive into straight from our family suite, great gym and SPA, spacious gardens and fantastic food. We even returned later for a day-pass after we had already moved on, because for all of us it truly felt like a happy place. Ilonka played a very crucial role in coordinating a week away for a large group to celebrate a 40th wedding anniversary. It needed to be something that accommodated a number of children as well as adults travelling without little ones. She never stopped arranging, was always on call either via voicenote, email or whatsapp. She went above and beyond to make sure everything went according to plan. I believe that was our 4th time using Ilonka and the team. This summer we booked one of our destinations again through her. It was a return trip back to a great location in France. We stayed at The South Tyrolean Art Nouveau Hotel and it was exactly what we were looking for. Gorgeous spaces for kids and grown ups, a cosy mountain feel and lots of activities for us all. We contacted The Little Voyager in spring time because we were finding it really tricky to find a summer holiday. Whilst there were plenty of options out there, it felt difficult to decide on one, especially once you delve into the associated reviews. Ilonka contacted us really promptly and once she knew what we were after, started sending us different options based on our budget and where we wanted to be. We decided on a hotel and Ilonka booked it all for us from there, so it was super stress free and easy. It was possibly the best holiday we've been on with something to do for everyone, whether it's spending all day in the various pools, going for walks in the mountains, mountain biking through the trees or playing in kids club. And to top it off, getting excellent Austrian food delivered straight to our chalet door for both breakfast and dinner was the icing on the cake.
