The Area
The hotel is in a truly enviable location in a rural region of Salzburger Land, where you will enjoy pure mountain air, wide open views and a vast choice of outdoor pursuits.
The hotel is right on the ski slopes, so in winter guests can ski right up to the terrace doors. From here there is direct access to the largest interconnected ski area in Austria - Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn - with some 270 km of pistes and 70 ski lifts.
In summer, this terrain is ideal for hiking and mountain biking and the hotel owners are available to take guests on guided tours of the area.
Hiking and mountain bike trails lead directly from the hotel into the impressive mountain world of Salzburger Land. With over 400 kilometres of hiking trails and numerous bike trails, there is something for every ability level.
The hotel is approximately one hour drive from Salzburg and one and a half hours from Munich.
Pets
Dogs are welcome at the property and the staff will be happy to give you information about nice walks in the area. Kindly note that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant or on the leisure meadow / bathing lake. Your four-legged friend is welcome in the lobby area and on the terrace. There is a daily surcharge for your dog and a one-off final cleaning fee.
