A quick stroll takes you to either one of the two nearby beaches, each of which have their own private section reserved for guests that include showers, sunbeds, towels and refreshments. Additionally, between June and October, the hotel offers the complimentary Babe Watch service: staff members will look after your little ones on the beach for up to 30 minutes to allow parents to enjoy a swim or walk on their own. Should you prefer to enjoy some time at the pool, both the lagoon-style pool and the paddle pool for children are heated.
Get ready to indulge in delicious dishes at the hotel’s different restaurants, where Michelin-starred chefs prepare exquisite meals using the finest local ingredients. There is a Spanish restaurant on-site and another one that serves international cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner (buffet-style). The poolside bar has speciality coffees, juices, and smoothies on the menu, as well as a large selection of salads and light meals. All offer special children meals to please the little gourmands as well.
The Dine Around Programme allows guests to try out any of the 22 restaurants throughout the Sani Resort, where you can either select one of the several tailored menus designed exclusively for the programme (without extra charges) or order a-la-carte (for an additional cost).
Families are exceptionally well-catered for, with a crèche for the very young (for an additional cost) and a kids club for older children (complimentary service for children aged 4 and up), all staffed by UK-trained child carers. Learning opportunities abound with baby swimming lessons, sports academies and eco-tours. Parents are just as spoiled for choice, with the option of trying new water sports, taking tennis lessons, cycling or relaxing at the spa.

The Area
Kassandra, the westernmost peninsula in Halkidiki, is technically an island, separated from the mainland by a canal. The most populated of the three peninsulas, it is famed for its stunning natural beauty: it’s an intoxicating mix of steep wooded hillsides that descend to pristine sandy beaches, calm aquamarine seas, tranquil wetlands and quaint villages.
The cleanliness of the beaches and their calm, clear seas have earned many of Kassandra’s beaches a Blue Flag rating and there is no shortage of options for those wanting to practice water sports. Most of the large, upscale resorts are located along the east coast, from where one can take boat trips to the holy mountain of Athos or outlying islands.
There is more to Kassandra than just beaches, however. There are impressive caves to explore, ancient churches to visit, excellent local food to be tasted and fragrant forests to explore. Lively beach bars make for a vibrant nightlife, and two major festivals, Sani and Siviris, are held each year.
Kassandra is less than an hour’s drive from Thessaloniki (about 40 minutes).
