The Halkidiki Seaside Resort & Villas is a five-star hotel located on Halkidiki’s third peninsula, Athos. It is nestled among exuberant Mediterranean gardens that hold a stunning variety of flowers, herbs, palm trees and olive groves, all with lovely views of the sea. The different room types are spread over different wings of the building. They are decorated in natural colours and have lovely views of the hotel’s gardens or of the sea.
The private beach has 3 different sections for everyone to enjoy depending on their mood: a quiet zone, an area with music, and one where the water sports centre and a bar are located. Guests can also freshen up at the hotel’s outdoor freshwater pool, which is heated. There is also a children’s pool for little guests to splash around.
You can rent a bicycle at the hotel and explore the area, neighbouring villages or close-by beaches on two wheels. There are also guided bike tours available. More sport options at the hotel include tennis, beach volleyball and table tennis. Additionally, you can use the state-of-the art equipment at the gym.
Complimentary exercise courses such as paddleboard yoga, Pilates, aqua-aerobics (in the sea!) or beach yoga are offered regularly. The water sports centre has equipment for guests to go diving, sailing, kayaking, wakeboarding, and water-skiing, and pedalos to explore the area. The hotel also has a beach club on a secluded island nearby, where you can chill on a sun lounger and enjoy a cool drink.
The hotel’s gastronomic offering, headed by a Michelin start chef, is unforgettable. There is a casual seafront bistro that serves a daily buffet with fresh fish and seafood, as well as an a la carte selection of dishes. The buffet restaurant, with different themed food options every day, is ideal for family meals. The other, more elegant restaurants serve Greek and Italian delicacies and top-quality meats.
There is a Kids Club for children who are between 4 months and 13 years old. Activities are offered in smaller groups, divided by age. Younger guests of all ages can look forward to the many different entertainment options, such as arts and crafts or water sports. The Kids Club is open April-October, from 10 am to 6pm, six days a week (Tuesday-Sunday). There are half day (10am – 2pm/2pm – 6pm) or full day sessions available. The water sports program for children aged 5 to 13 runs during the high season. The Kids Club is not included in the room booking, and prior reservation is required.
The Teen Club is equipped with age-appropriate facilities such as video games, a pinball machine and a ping-pong table, where older children can socialize and make new friends. There is also an open-air theatre, which hosts movie nights and kid’s disco parties.
The hotel’s award-winning spa offers massages and treatments, some of which can even be enjoyed by the sea. There is also a family spa treatment menu that offers facials and massages for younger guests.
