The Penthouse Suites (85m2) have an unbeatable view of the surrounding mountains and offer plenty of space for families. They each have two separate rooms, one of which includes a large seating area, as well as a separate bathroom, toilet, and a spacious balcony. The hotel has several indoor playrooms and an arts-and-crafts corner. There is also a dining room designed especially for younger guests and a game room for older children, with a table football, table tennis and a teenager lounge. Older children will enjoy the teen gym, with indoor hockey facilities, a bowling alley, a climbing wall and air hockey.
Children are more than welcome at the hotel’s spa, where they can relax and enjoy their time together with their parents. The Family Spa features year-round heated pools, two family relaxation rooms, two family saunas, two paddling pools for the little ones and a spacious lawn for sunbathing.
There is a charming historical train that connects several towns in the area and passes close to the hotel. It is as old as the hotel (built in 1907) and still works to this day. The train ride gives guests the chance to enjoy lovely views of the surrounding mountains and nearby towns and is a truly unique experience.
There is a cable car station right by the hotel, which connects the region to the state capital of Bolzano (Bozen in German). Children and adults alike will love the cable car ride and the breathtaking views. Bolzano is a lovely town where the Northern European and the Mediterranean way of life converge. This can be seen reflected in the region’s art, traditions and culinary delicacies. There are also many walking trails in the surroundings for those who wish to take a stroll without getting too far from the centre of the town.

There are hundreds of kilometres of hiking trails sprawled across the mountains where the hotel is located, from the vineyards in the valley all the way up to majestic peaks reaching 2.200 meters. The hotel offers a selection of hiking picks, a shoe room and also organises guided hikes to the prettiest spots in the area – even in the colder months. A short 30-minute hike will take you to the “earth pyramids,” a fascinating landscape formed by erosion.
The region offers an excellent network of bicycle tracks. A free transportation pass is included in the room rate, and you can combine it with the bikes provided by the hotel to explore the area. Mountain bikes are free of charge for guests, while e-bikes cost 25€ for half a day. You can also join guided e-bike tours for 55€ (half day). 
In winter you can reach a family-friendly skiing area in about 10 minutes by car. Twice a day the hotel organises a shuttle. There are wide, gentle slopes, ideal for beginners, families and experienced skiers, as well as a long natural toboggan run, snow hiking trails and cross-country skiing tracks.
