Hi, I’m Ilonka Schäfer, mother of two young children and founder of The Little Voyager.
I launched The Little Voyager in 2015 when I realised there was a gap in the market for a travel business. I hoped I could offer parents in a similar situation a reliable choice of genuinely family-friendly holiday options.
Drawing on my own family’s travels and experiences, I created a carefully selected choice of rental villas, B&Bs and hotels. Offering style and comfort for parents along with plenty of facilities and equipment for the younger members of the family.
Based in Barcelona I am always discovering new places to play, eat and be entertained in this wonderful city. This blog aims to showcase some of the great places parents can take kids. Aiming to cover Barcelona and other destinations, I hope to offer tips and ideas for making travelling with the family fun, safe and hassle-free for everyone.
