Before heading to Sani Resort in Greece. Before, even having kids I used to travel quite frequently to Greece and loved it, with its warm-hearted people and the great food not to mention its turquoise waters.
This month we finally travelled back, this time with my children. I can only say all my expectations were exceeded.
After a short flight from Girona, and only 40 minutes drive from Thessaloniki airport we arrived at Sani Resort. This is a beautiful resort comprising of five family-friendly hotels with stunning views over the Aegean Sea.
Sani Resort
We stayed at Sani Beach, which has over 7 km of golden sand beaches, indoor and outdoor pools, multiple restaurants and an endless choice of activities for all ages.
Families are exceptionally well catered for. There is a Peppa Pig-themed crèche for the very young and a Kids Club for older children. All the staff are UK-trained child carers. Learning opportunities abound with baby swimming lessons, sports academies and eco-tours. Parents are just as spoiled for choice, with the option of trying new water sports, taking tennis lessons, cycling, relaxing at the spa or even learning about beekeeping! There are lots of activities that parents and children can enjoy together as a family.
I especially love the unique “Babewatch” service, a complimentary 30-minute childcare service on the beach, offered to parents allowing them to rest or go for a swim. I have never seen anything like this before and it is such a great idea!
Exceptional Facilities
But it is not only the exceptional facilities and activities that make Sani Beach so special, it is also the outstandingly warm and friendly staff and excellent service.
For families looking for a quieter time, Sani Club, another of the Sani Resort hotels, is the ideal choice. Voted one of the top ten hotels for families in the world. At Sani Club you can enjoy the privacy of your own beautiful bungalow. At the same time having access to the facilities and entertainment of a luxury resort.
The hotel has a private beach, with clear shallow water, ideal for children. Dining options at the hotel include modern Greek, French, farm-to-table and buffet restaurants. There is a Dine Around programme giving access to 22 restaurants within the Sani Resort.
