Last weekend we visited some friends in Sitges and discovered a good place to have lunch with kids.

Sitges is a famous bohemian coastal town southwest of Barcelona, around 20-30 minutes drive by car or train.

The restaurant has amazing sea views, a small playground next to it and everything you would  need for the little ones, such as high chairs, a changing table, a small choice of kids food and even some cool beach bags for us mums to buy on site.

In the past few years, their network has increased immensely and they have become an important reference point for all parents looking for inspiration on where to eat, shop, play and travel with their children.

Successful travel with kids is dependent on so many factors. Despite being in business for only eight months, La Vie en Papier has already won the hearts of many. What sets La Vie en Papier apart from other stores is its personalized service.

My kids and I have been craving apple cinnamon rice cakes lately. Unfortunately, we can only find our favorite brand from the UK at Baby Deli in Barcelona. Whenever we run out of them, we make a trip to this store. It’s a great excuse to browse their selection of healthy snacks, educational books, and toys.

As we all know, travelling with toddlers can be tricky and it is not only about choosing the right place to spend your holidays but also about planning the trip to your holiday destination. I think all of us have had bad experiences traveling with toddlers and many of us have probably thought at least once that it actually makes more sense to stay at home.

Finding the right lunch place for several families on a week-end can be quite challenging, so when we discovered Can Parpers last month, we were very pleased. We were a big group of friends with our kids, and we had a wonderful time.

The main library in town is great and has interesting workshops for adults and kids. This beach location of the library is only open July and August afternoons.

Barcelona is known for its hot summers, which is why it’s important to find child-friendly indoor options to escape the heat. Between 11am and 3pm, the sun reaches its peak, making it difficult for children to enjoy outdoor playtime without risking sunburn or heat exhaustion. That’s why I am constantly searching for indoor activities that the whole family can enjoy.
