AT THE HOTEL

Kids Club

The Baltic Sea Escape Kids Club

In the summer (July and August), the kids club is open 5 days a week and closes on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The activities they offer include painting, crafting, beach games, football, SUP, and climbing on the hotel’s rope course. The kids club is open for children between 4 and 13 years old in the summer and between 3 and 7 years old outside of school holidays. On Tuesdays, the hotel organises Family Day, with activities for the whole family to enjoy.

From September to June the kids club is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Teens Club

The hotel’s “Teen-Time” allows older children (up to 15 years old) to explore independently. Teens can climb the rope course, go on a night GPS tour, or hang out in the hotel’s Teen Club, an area to chill and chat with other kids their age. Every week, the hotel also helps teenagers shoot their own short film, which is then uploaded to the hotel’s Facebook website and YouTube Channel.

The Ostseetherme includes a water park area with slides and pools for the whole family, and a sauna complex that is reserved for adults (and, as German saunas usually are, it’s also “textile-free,” which means no clothes allowed). It’s a perfect rainy-day activity.

Fishing

The Area

Neustadt bei Holstein is a small town in the Bay of Lübeck on the Baltic Sea. It’s a popular destination for German tourists, and is known for its charming waterfront, the weekly outdoor market that has been going for 128 years, and the typical northern German brick architecture of its downtown area.

If you’re in the mood to take in the local art scene, the Neustadt Art Kilometre that runs on the promenade along the harbour features sculptures and installations by several Schleswig-Holstein artists. Nearby, the zeiTTor is a tactile museum where visitors of all ages can discover what life was like for the people of Neustadt in the past. The museum is designed for visitors to touch and feel the exhibits, which makes it a fun experience for children.
