Next Saturday on May 12, there will be another edition of the great family event #1000raons taking place in Barcelona, organised by the Front Marítim Barceloneta association and the Hospital Del Mar with the purpose to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide that’s why there are 1000 reasons (“1000raons”) why we all should contribute to breast cancer research and create awareness.
Just like last time there will be many fun activities for kids (such as Robotics, Face Painting , Arts & Crafts etc.), food tastings, show cooking and family concerts offered throughout the entire day.
Furthermore, one of our favourite family spaces in town “El Cau” will also help to entertain families and will offer great activities for the little ones at the park (be ready to discover a “minicau” there)!
The entrance fee is 7 Euros for adults and kids enter for free. The event starts at 11am and will end at 7pm. Tickets can be bought in advance or on the day itself. With the entrance ticket you can join all activities and will receive food tastings.
The location next to the beach is perfect for this type of event and easily accessible by public transport: Parc de la Barceloneta (Passeig Marítim 15, 08003 Barcelona next to Hospital Del Mar).
