Cooking healthy food for your family can be quite tricky especially because most of us do not have much time on our hands to buy and prepare food and to look up new recipes. I don’t know about you but I feel guilty when my kids eat the same breakfast every morning and when the afternoon snack is the same apple or cookie each day. Healthy alternatives can be hard to find and expensive to buy.

Djanira, founder of The Sunshine Table, is a mum herself and started to run cooking classes in Barcelona and the surrounding area for exactly that reason. She wants to help families prepare healthy food quickly and easily. She believes that everyone is capable of walking into their kitchen, opening the cupboard and fridge and making a healthy meal from scratch with what they find in under 20 minutes. Her classes teach parents how to make healthy food that is easy to make and most importantly that their kids will love. Having tasted her snacks, I can confirm just how yummy her food is.

In October and November, she will be sharing her recipes and secret tricks by offering 4 interesting workshops in a private home in Sant Just Desvern. Classes are always on a Friday morning from 10:30am – 12:30pm.

You’ll take home a detailed recipe book with easy to follow instructions and information of where to buy ingredients so you can easily make the foods at home. You can book the whole course for 120 Euros or individual classes are 40 Euros each.
