All of you that have children know that there is a lot of truth behind the saying “it takes a village” and it can be very tough to find that village especially when you live abroad and don’t have your family support system in place.
This is why SocialFam has been created with the idea to create a community for international families in Barcelona focusing on family wellbeing, bringing people together and supporting each other’s businesses.
Next Saturday on September 29 SocialFam will be hosting the first edition of a great family event taking place at Parc de la Cuitadella in El Born from 11am until 3pm inviting everybody who is interested in joining and bringing their families. All families are welcome, just bring a dish & drink and enjoy!
For the little ones (3-7 year olds) there will be a Kids Club set up at a playground nearby, which will be lead by Stephanie Ford of Bright Beginnings outdoor playgroup, which means the kids are in best hands and can expect lots of fun and excitement during the day!
Here comes the activity schedule:
11h – 12h Theatre hour
12h – 13h Art class (With a professional artist)
13h – 14h Storytelling & facepaint
14h – 15h Water play/obstacle course

Please note the activities for the kids will have a cost of 5€ per hour and should be pre-booked via WhatsApp to the number indicated above.
The location is perfect for this type of event and easily accessible by public transport: Parc de la Cuitadella (Passeig de Picasso, 21, 08003 Barcelona / Metro: Arc de Triomf L1, C1).
