A Few weeks ago I had the pleasure to meet one of the founders of Muments, who explained her business to me and to some other mumpreneurs. I instantly fell in love with what they offer to local mums and how the project got started.
So what exactly is Muments?
Sara and Cindy, two Mexican mums, met thanks to their husbands 5 years ago in a bar, which was the beginning of a close friendship. A few years later, after becoming mums and sharing this journey together they both realised they simply couldn’t remember when it had been the last time they had time for themselves or treat themselves to something as simple as a manicure. After talking to other expat mums who raised their kids as well without a family support system they realised there was a need for special mum moments so their mumpreneur story began.
They created a new event concept called Muments Mornings which now already takes place since February. MM are always hosted in baby friendly cafes and play-rooms around the city so mums can bring their children along. Muments offer mornings of guilt-free pampering and relaxation for mums whilst their baby is taken care of.
This Saturday, November 24th they will launch their first weekend edition for all those who work on weekdays and cannot attend the events taking place during the week. The event will be hosted at the brand new Kids & Kafé in Les Corts from 10:00am-12:30pm. Babies and children (up to the age of 6) are very welcome to join.
Kids & Kafé is a great family space focused on children role play with different play sections suitable for children of different ages.
The price per adult is 20 Euros and includes a relaxing 10 minute full body massage. As well as a healthy breakfast and a basic manicure!
The location in Les Corts is very convenient not far from L’illa Diagonal shopping centre. There are many playgrounds in the area that can be visited after the event.
